Independent Oilfield Inspection Ltd

Independent Oilfield Inspection Services Ltd performs maintenance inspections for New Zealand drilling operators performing non destructive testing (NDT) inspections on all equipment from the crown to the drill bit.

All of Independent’s inspectors are trained on the job, through the company’s training scheme, and are then sent to the International Pipe Inspectors Association of Houston, Texas, USA, for the relevant inspection examinations.

Independent Oilfield Inspection Services Ltd is a financial member of the following associations:

• HERA (Heavy Engineering and Research Association of New Zealand)
• IPIA (International Pipe Inspectors Association of Houston, Texas, USA)
• New Zealand Non-Destructive Testing Association

In late 2008 Independent Oilfield Inspection Services Limited will be moving to a new purpose built inspection facility. This will allow for all weather indoor inspection and the abiltiy to work around the clocking to meet customer requirements and time frames when required.
